I was born and raised in a small town in Montana and have been passionate about serving others since I was a tiny little Brownie Girl Scout. Growing up I was known for my strong sense of justice and my habit of including and standing up for others.

After graduating as valedictorian from my hometown high school in 2015, I earned a full academic scholarship to the University of Nevada Las Vegas where I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education in just 3 years after being accepted into the advanced Kitty Rodman Scholarship Cohort.

I am deeply passionate about special education and have dedicated 5 years to making a difference in public schools as a special education teacher and interventionist. This experience has allowed me to develop invaluable skills in managing cases, implementing IDEA, mediating conflicts between school districts and families, training educators and families, and improving student outcomes.

However, I've realized that my impact can be exponentially greater by expanding my reach beyond the confines of a single classroom or school.

Pursuing my own educational advocacy and consulting business allows me to leverage my experience and expertise to support a larger number of students, educators, and families. I envision creating customized, evidence-based solutions for diverse learning needs across multiple districts, bringing innovative practices and tailored support to those who need it most.

This new venture aligns with my goals and aspirations to drive systemic change in special education. By consulting and advocating, I can address widespread challenges, mediate conflicts, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations on a broader scale. It's about transforming the educational landscape to create more inclusive and effective learning environments nationwide.

I am excited to channel my passion and dedication into a business that not only advances my career but also has a profound, lasting impact on the special education community.

By stepping into this new role, I aim to empower families with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed, driving positive change and innovation in the field of education and ultimately making the world a better place.
