A licensed Special Educator with extensive experience in IDEA compliance will review critical portions of your child's most recent annual IEP or IEP draft. Free consultation includes a phone call to discuss your child's goals, services, and supports to ensure they are directly related to the data in their most recent present levels.
BASIC IEP Review & Advocacy Package (Starting at $200)
This package is designed for families who need support with the annual IEP development process and includes:
Records Review: Thorough review of student's annual IEP and most recent grades and standardized assessment data to understand your child's strengths, needs, and educational performance.
IEP Draft Review: Review of IEP rough draft to prepare questions, suggestions, and requests prior to the IEP meeting.
Meeting Representation: Attendance at annual IEP meeting to effectively advocate for appropriate services, accommodations, and goals that align with your child's individual needs and are compliant with the requirements IDEA.
IEP Final Review: Advocate will perform a review of the final IEP draft provided after the meeting to ensure the IEP has been properly written and will notify parent of any errors, omissions, or problems with the IEP before the parents sign and agree to the IEP.
Parent Education: Guidance and education on your rights under IDEA throughout the IEP development process.
*NOTICE: Additional charge for travel to in-person meetings, for meetings that exceed 1 hour, or meetings that result in mediation, due process, or formal complaints.
INTENSIVE IEP Review & Advocacy Package (Starting at $450)
This package is ideal for families who require continuous support to ensure their child's IEP is being implemented with fidelity throughout the school year. In addition to the core services in our basic package, this package includes quarterly check-ins to closely monitor and support your child's progress, ensuring their IEP is implemented properly throughout the year. This package includes:
Comprehensive Records Review: Thorough review of student's confidential folder including previous annual IEP, most recent standardized assessments, and evaluations from previous school year to understand your child's strengths, needs, and current educational status.
IEP Meeting Representation: Attendance at annual IEP meeting (including review of IEP draft prior to the meeting) to effectively advocate for appropriate services, accommodations, and goals that align with your child's individual needs and are compliant with the requirements IDEA.
IEP Final Review: Advocate will perform a review of the final IEP draft provided after the meeting to ensure the IEP has been properly written and will notify parent of any errors, omissions, or problems with the IEP before the parents sign and agree to the IEP.
Effective Communication & Collaboration: Collaboration with school personnel, teachers, service providers and/or administrators as needed to ensure your child's educational plan is implemented effectively throughout the school year.
Parent Education & Support: Guidance and education on your rights under IDEA, as well as tailored strategies and recommendations to effectively navigate special education, build on your child's strengths and advocate for their unique needs.
